Privacy and cookies

In short: this site uses no analytics, no tracking and no ads. We only keep what is needed to reply to you and to let our customers log in.
Who is the data controller
ROTH WORKS by Mikkel Roth, Aarhus, Denmark, hej@rothworks.dk. The company registration (CVR) number will be added here once the company is registered.

When you write to us
The contact form does not send anything to us by itself. It opens your own email program with the message filled in, and only when you press send do we receive an email with your name, your email address, possibly your company, and your message.
We use the information to reply to you and to prepare a possible meeting. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and — if you ask for a quote — steps prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and (b)).
We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to follow up, and delete it no later than 12 months after the last contact, unless it leads to a customer relationship. The email is held by our email provider, Microsoft (Microsoft 365), which processes it on our behalf.
The customer portal
The customer portal is only for customers we have invited ourselves. There we store your email address, your name, your company and the messages you write to us. The information is held by our database provider, Supabase, in the EU (Ireland), and kept for as long as the customer relationship lasts, unless the agreement says otherwise.
The site is hosted by Vercel, which for operations and security logs technical information such as IP address and browser for a limited period.
Cookies
We only use cookies that are necessary for the site to work. No analytics, no tracking and no ads — and therefore no cookie banner either.

Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to the processing, ask for it to be restricted, and receive your information (data portability). Write to hej@rothworks.dk.
If you are unhappy with how we process your information, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.
Changes
If we change how we process information, we update this page and the date at the top.
